✔️ Dosage & Administration of Ticoflex SR 500
🔸 Adults:
Arthritis (RA, OA, AS):
- 500–1000 mg/day in 2 divided doses after meals
Pain, Dysmenorrhea, Tendonitis, Bursitis:
- Initial: 500 mg
- Then: 500 mg every 12 hrs OR 250 mg every 6–8 hrs
- Max first-day dose: 1250 mg, afterward ≤1000 mg/day
Acute Gout:
- Start: 750 mg
- Then: 250 mg every 8 hrs until symptoms improve
🔹 Children (Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis):
Over 2 years:
- 10 mg/kg/day in 2 divided doses (12-hr interval)
Under 2 years: Not recommended

- 🚫 Lithium: Naproxen reduces lithium excretion → Possible toxicity
- 🔽 Antihypertensives: These may reduce their effectiveness
- ⚠️ Aminoglycosides (e.g., Gentamicin): May increase levels → risk of side effects
- ❌ Anticoagulants (e.g., Warfarin): Increased bleeding risk due to dual blood thinning
